The Dutchess Federation has been part of fish stocking in Dutchess County since 1953. Our Fish Stocking Committee stocks approximately 12,000 trout annually. The team meets with the stocking trucks at various locations in the springtime and helps transport the fish from the truck to the streams and ponds. One obvious benefit is that we get to see all these quality fish before they are released. We can always use another member on the team….please consider joining the Fish Stocking Committee.
