| Oct 1 | Early bow season opens. Ends 11/15. |
| Oct 19 | Fall turkey season opens. Ends Nov 1. |
| Nov 2 | Crossbows allowed in early bow season until Nov 15. |
| Nov 16 | Regular deer and bear season opens in Southern Zone. Ends Dec 8. |
| Dec 9-17 | Late bow and muzzleloader deer season. Also open Dec 26 - Jan 1 (the Holiday hunt). |
